      C++ has never had formal support for properties, leading developers to create their own property systems with varying degrees of success. Frameworks like Qt use their MOC compiler and meta-type system to implement a powerful property system, while Microsoft introduced the __declspec(property) extension in MSVC. Others have used libraries like RTTR or templates to build property systems on top of C++. In my project, a dynamic analysis toolkit for reverse engineers, I faced the challenge of displaying property values from executable memory.
