Ranjith Hegde

Ranjith is a computational artist and C++ systems engineer with over 15 years of interdisciplinary work spanning traditional music (violin), digital audio, spatial graphics, live coding, and real-time systems. His background includes production audio programming (Unreal Engine 5, Metro: Awakening VR), experimental performance and composition, and teaching computational creativity and curriculum development at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology.

He is currently developing MayaFlux, an open-source C++20/23 multimedia framework that treats audio, visual, and control data as unified numerical streams. His work focuses on real-time infrastructure where lock-free concurrency, coroutines, and compile-time metaprogramming are architectural necessities rather than performance optimizations, bridging systems programming and creative computation.
